Our Lainey is already 4 months old...and add a few days!
Alaina is such a wonderful baby. She is always happy and really only fusses when she is hungry or tired and wants her paci. We got very lucky!
She is working on rolling over. She has rolled over once, in attempt to get her paci in her mouth, but she was sitting slightly up on a pillow, so could have been a fluke.
She is still on full breast milk. We have not started solids.
Lainey sleeps through most nights, but there are times when she is up and all I have to do is stick in her paci, and back to sleep she goes. Some mornings she will also wake a little earlier than 6am for some food! Usual schedule is 7:45 bath - 8pm nursing - 8:30 bedtime - 6 am wake.
She takes several short naps during the day, and one long one in the afternoon.
She loves to watch her sister, you can tell her eye sight has gotten so much clearer because she will watch from across the room. She also loves to play with her toys, banging them around making as much noise as possible. I don't know what our house would be if it wasn't loud!
She is in 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers.
We still have her in the carrier for a car seat, but she is getting extremely heavy in that thing. My only reservation to switching her, is when we go to stores she isn't able to sit up yet. So I guess I'll be building muscle until then.
She had her 4 month appointment about a week and a half ago. She weighed in at 17lbs 11oz and was 27.5in long! (Gaining a whole pound and growing 1 inch from last month!) She was in the 99.95% for her height. I joke that it is hard to believe that I have a child that tall! Addie better not pick on her too much, Lainey may be able to soon get to her if she keep growing like this!
