chopstick master...

We went to Addie's favorite restaurant today -- HuHot!  This girl loves HuHot.  We know because she told Grandma one day that she loves it, and said that her mommy does too!  Such a smart girl!  Defiantly a family favorite!  The best part is that Addie eats free!

Today, Addie wanted to use the chopsticks.  Dan and I figured she would just play with them, but this little girl was determined to eat with them.  To our surprise, she did very well!

Trip to Kansas City Zoo

Number 51 on our list was to go to the zoo!  On our little weekend trip, we decided to drive a few more hours to go to the Kansas City Zoo!  We were in the car for about 14 hours, and surprisingly Addie did really well!  Here are some of our pictures from the Zoo.  I think I took over 100...so here are a few of the favorites!

The polar bear was putting on a show.  This thing was massive! He would swim around the big rock, come up to the glass, push off and do a flip.

Addie did not have a nap, so towards the end of our visit Addie become a little grumpy.  Addie did not want to get in her stroller!  Of course Daddy captures THIS picture of the two of us!

We had a blast at the zoo.  Addie did so well, except the last 15 minutes or so...then it was time to go!  Someone was seriously overdue for her nap!! I think she was asleep less than 5 minutes after loading the truck!

No. 25(weekend trip), 36(new restaurant), and 42(ice cream)!!

Last weekend we took a trip to Missouri.  Dan had a coon hunt, so we went along and made a trip to the Kansas City Zoo (post on that coming up).  We also did a few other things while we were on our little weekend trip! We checked a few things of our 101 things to do in 2012 list!

On our way home, we met up with my cousin it Ottumwa for ice cream and a break at the park.  Addie had a little baby cone.  She LOVED it!!

Nice sunny days...

"It's a nice sunny day!"  This is one of Addie's favorite quotes.  She says it all the time while we are playing outside.  Today we drove in the driveway and Addie says, "It's not raining no more. It's a nice sunny day!"  We certainly have been taking advantage of these nice sunny days!
