On a Saturday...

She is such a goof!

To make our day more interesting Addie found a sticker for her belly!  Today we decided to clean out closets and I found the gag gift we received at Christmas.  It is the "perfect husband" and says things that all us wives wish our husbands would say to us!  On his hand was a "press me" sticker that Addie took off.  It wasn't until Dan came in from doing chores that we noticed she had stuck it on her belly!  How funny is that?!!  All day Dan and I would push Addie's belly, making her giggle!

Our Saturday was full of Addie's silliness!  She is SO much fun at this age!  Tomorrow we have church, a birthday party, and Monday we begin working on the kitchen!!  Hurray!!  Have a great weekend!

Goin' on an Easter Egg Hunt...

On Sunday we had our first Easter celebration of the year!  Addie had her very first Easter egg hunt and had an absolute blast!  We were lucky to have wonderful weather.  It was a little breezy, but it was 86 degrees!!

Our little Addie loves to wear her sunglasses.  She likes it because she has glasses like Daddy and proudly tells and shows him that she has her glasses on when she sees him!

We had a great time with the family!  It is so fun to watch Addie at this age.  She takes everything in and is so excited about EVERYTHING!  

We have a busy week ahead of us that includes Addison's 18 month pictures, I have an interview on Thursday (wish me luck), my WOT meeting, getting all summer clothes out and washed, a trip to Waterloo to pick up my counter tops, and hopefully a kitchen remodel this weekend!!  I just hope I get to feeling better so that my head doesn't feel like exploding through all this!!  Hope everyone has a great week!

Weekend update...

This weekend kept our family pretty busy!  Here are some of the random photos from our weekend!

Addie loves wearing mommy's shoes around the house!  It is SO funny to watch her try to walk in them.  She definitely has a shoe addiction!

On Friday she helped Daddy put her shelf together for her room. She actually understood the concept of how it was put together.  She would start the screws in the holes and once Daddy screwed them in, she would take the white covers and put them on!  Both Dan and I were amazed!  She definitely does NOT get that from me!

Her room is slowly coming along.  I am hoping to get it done soon.  We have been taking advantage of this nice weather and have not really been working on it!

On Saturday we went to take pictures with Uncle Jon before prom...

We took the pictures next to the park, so after we were done we had to go play!

After we left the park, Addison decided she should finally take a nap.  Only about 3 hours later than her normal nap time.  I put her in bed before we took pictures (her normal nap time) and she was in her room jumping in her bed for almost an hour!!  As a result we didn't make it to the grand march :(....  So, we were happy we got to see Uncle Jon all fancied in his tux for pictures!

On Sunday, we had Easter with Dan's side of the family.  Stay tuned for a post on that....

Lovin' this Weather!

The weather has finally warmed up and we took full advantage of it all weekend!

On Saturday we played our first game of baseball!  Uncle Max attempted to teach Addie how to bat, but she really wasn't having any of it!

On Sunday we spent the ENTIRE day outside.  We went out after church, came in for a quick nap after picnicking at the park, and went back out until it was time to come in to get ready for bed!  I had a really hard time convincing her to actually come in the house!  It was so nice out, that we were in t-shirts!

She loved the park and had a blast with the slide!  We had Grandma catch her just in case!

She also loved the swings.  I thought she was going to fall asleep while we were swinging!

Hard to believe that it was a year ago that this picture was taken at our very first trip to the park!  Love looking back at pictures!  Addison has grown SO much!

I am grateful that we enjoyed the time together outside this weekend because today it was about 25 degrees cooler!  The rest of the week looks lovely and we plan to take full advantage!!  Have a great week!
