Happy Halloween!

Halloween was much different this year with working full time.  It was a rush to get home to get this little ladybug ready!  Thank goodness we had a little extra time, because this was NOT the costume we had for her to wear this Halloween!  She actually had a ladybug costume, but she really wanted to wear this tutu.  Luckily We had these wings, and just went with the outfit.  I think it looked cute, and Addie labeled herself as the "bug princess."  She definitely has a mind of her own!

This was about the best picture we could get out of the two of these characters!  Max's mustache cracks me up!

Adorable little ladybug!  She loved her wings, but has trouble walking through doors and grandma vehicle at times.  We kept hearing "my wings stuck, wings stuck!"  It was too cute!

Addie would not walk up to the house, she had to have mommy or daddy carry her.  She was very shy and would not say "trick-or-treat" when she came up to a stranger.  Although, she would say it any other time!  She did tell them "thank you" for her candy, though.  That's a step!

Once she figured out the process of going up and getting candy, she LOVED it!  She would pick out red candy when it was there and wanted to eat her entire bucket!  Daddy let her have more than enough...he is such a softie.  If there was no mommy in this house, Addie would be doing WHATEVER she wanted WHENEVER she wanted!!  She definitely had daddy wrapped around her little finger!

We mainly stopped at the doors of family and friends.  When we stopped at Grandma's house Addie got a special treat bag with all her favorites!

We had a blast this Halloween!  Addie is at such a great age, and is so enjoyable (most of the time)!!  We hope everyone had a great Halloween!!

Well-Toddler

We had Addison's well baby (or toddler) check-up today.  We started seeing a new doctor due to the switch of our insurance and again, I was very happy with how he handled Addie.  I thank God every day for such a healthy little girl.  Her doc said she was doing great and had no concerns.

She weighed in at 31lbs. and was 35.25 in. tall!!  Both are in the 90th percentile.  She is a growing girl!!

2-year pictures!!

Addie had her two year pictures done on her birthday and they have arrived!!  I was curious to see them, since we had a difficult time with poses.  As usual, Nichole was still able to get some amazing pictures of our beautiful two year old!!  ENJOY...

Thank you Nichole for doing such an amazing job and for putting up with our crazy two year old!  To see more of Nichole's work, click HERE to visit her website!!

Pickin' Pumpkins!

A few weekends ago we were picking apples, last weekend we were picking our pumpkin!  We grow most of our own pumpkins, so we take Addie to the pumpkin patch for the experience and let her pick out a pumpkin.  This year we tried a new place  and it had lots for us to do.  The weather was beautiful, so we really enjoyed our day!

Addie had to rearrange all the chairs before taking a seat!

Riding the horse...

Dan thought we should get one of these for Addie.  I think the giant blow-up jump house is taking up enough room in the house!

She had to ride the pink tractor...

Searching for the perfect pumpkin!

FOUND IT!

I think the stem of the pumpkin was as thick as Addie's legs!  She picked out a pretty good pumpkin and had a blast!  Wishing this weather would last forever...
