our four-eyed cutie...

You know those times in parenting when you know what you are doing, you really shouldn't do...BUT it is pretty funny, so you do it anyway?!!....

Like Addie wearing Daddy's glasses, which is probably NOT good for her eyes.

BUT it was SO darn funny!

Dan told Addie that it wasn't going to hurt her eyes because she was going to have to wear them when she was older anyway.  Especially with BOTH mommy and daddy needing glasses.
It was funny when Addie put them on and tried to walk.  She said "Addie can't see.  Can't walk with these, Daddy!"  So, it may not have been our best moments as parents, but it brought some laughs to us tonight.  How can you not laugh at that?!!

Pure entertainment...

Addison is typically a shy little girl, BUT put her in front of a crowd that thinks she's silly...

...AND you get a little goofball!

so dramatic...

I just love the way she makes us laugh.  You never quite know what she will do next!  She brings such joy to our lives!  We love you, Addie girl!

On another note...  It was my birthday on Monday!!  I hate that going back to work meant being away from my little Addie, but it is nice to have such wonderful co-workers!!  I walked in to my desk full of cupcakes and presents, AND Dan took me out for supper that night!  Great birthday, minus the fact that I am now on the downward slope to 30!  26 feels SO OLD.......

Dancing Queen...

Addie loved dancing in her dress last night.  In fact we could not get her off the dance floor!

She loved the lights.

Dancing with Jenna...

Our little cutie!!

Look at those dance moves!

This was her look when they stopped the music for the dollar dance.  Although, that did NOT stop Addie!  She kept dancing in the background!

Dancing with Grandma...
 ...and Daddy!

We had such a wonderful time!  Always good to spend time with family.

Jake & Jenna's Wedding

We had Jake and Jenna's wedding this weekend...and LOOK!  Addie has her dress on!  Let me tell you.  She REALLY did NOT want that dress on at first, and I kind of had to fight with her a little putting it on, but we got in on.  Once we got it on, she didn't want to take it off!  Look at our little flower girl.  Isn't she just the most adorable thing you have ever seen?!!

Practicing her "sprint" down the isle.

Addie and Wyatt got along wonderfully.  They were so stinkin' cute together.

Addison with her flowers...

Addison, Wyatt, and Jasmyn.

Wyatt liked to hold Addie's hand.  Addie and Wyatt are only about three weeks apart in age.  Addie being three weeks older...

Practicing the walk...

Wyatt also liked to give Addie hugs and kisses.  Addie didn't always like this, but it was adorable.  I think Wyatt was just used to playing with a bunch of boys and not a delicate little girl like Addie! lol!!

The wedding party.  You will have to excuse the brightness, I think the photographer's flash was interfering with my flash.

dancing on the alter...

Pretending to talk on the phone.  Wonder where she gets that?!

Addie and Wyatt being kept occupied before they had to walk down the isle.

I bet you are wondering if she did walk down.....AND SHE DID!!!  Well, and back!  She walked down and I stayed back to capture a few pics before heading up.  As I was walking up to the front, Addie didn't see me and took off for the back of the church.  She was yelling for "MOMMY"  and when she still didn't see me she had a meltdown in the middle of the isle.  Throwing herself down to the floor.  I was MORTIFIED, but the rest of the church thought it was hilarious.  It was the talk of the night (minus Addie's dancing, which I will put up pictures in another post).  Where was Daddy in all of this, you might ask?!!  Well, as dairy farmers most of the time do, he was running about 5 minutes behind, so he missed it!  I am hoping someone caught it on camera so he can see it at some point!

My beautiful family after the wedding...

The girl likes her bubbles...

...I mean REALLY likes her bubbles!

Just the start of her dancing for the day!
The wedding turned out wonderful (other than the show from Miss Addie)!!  I will post pictures of the reception later!!

Today is the BIG day!!  Addie's first wedding!  She is the adorable little flower girl today!  I just hope that her and Wyatt do as well as they did while practicing last night....wish us luck!
