I can NOT believe my little girl is going to be TWO years old on Thursday. We could not imagine our lives without our little Addie. She is such a blessing!
I took Addie to the doctor this morning because she hasn't been sleeping well at night. She gets up around 1-2am and screams and flails around. She had been tugging at her ears this weekend and I know that your ears can hurt worse when you lay down. We went to our new doctor today and I was VERY happy with him! This relives a lot of my stress, let me tell ya. When I went back to work my insurance only covered certain doctors/clinics because the Hospice I work for is under a hospital. I have been dreading the fact that we would have to start with someone new, but was relieved today when he had Addie open up and telling him stories within the first two minutes! She was telling him about her cupcake party. It was adorable! He was WONDERFUL!! BUT, didn't find anything wrong with Addie....ugh! We both came to the conclusion that she may be constipated and have some pains from that. Addie has been doing wonderful with wearing big girl undies, but she seems to hold her bowels (she will hate me someday) because she does not like to do that in the potty. I am going to try some high fiber remedies and see how that goes. --boy that was a long thought!
I have a giant bouncy house in my living-dining area and it is driving me nuts! Just doesn't feel like the house is clean with that in the way. Addie has a blast in it though, so I don't want to take it down. Guess I'll deal.
I am loving my job, but I continue with the working mom guilt. I honestly don't know if I will ever get over it because I know what it was like to stay home and I loved that too. I have really learned to appreciate the little moments.
We have had a busy month and it continues the next few weekends. Thursday we took the day off to spend time with Addie, we are going out with friends on Friday, heading to Wisconsin to the apple orchard on Saturday, and hopefully resting on Sunday. Then next weekend is the Dairy Expo in Madison, WI. I am hoping that it slows down after that. I am really looking forward to a weekend with NO PLANS!
We have Addie's two-year pictures on Thursday (her birthday). We did it that way last year too and it seemed to work well. It is fun to know that her pictures were actually taken on her birthday.
Looking forward to Thursday and an entire day with my family! Have a great week! Here are some phone photos to share...
Having ice cream at Aunt Vicky and Uncle Mike's house. She gets really spoiled when she goes there!
There picture crack me up! I told Addie if she keeps smiling like that she is going to have lots of wrinkles when she gets older!
We love this girl SOOO much!
