Our little Addison turned two years old today. We have filled these past two years with so many wonderful memories. She has brought more joy to our lives than we could have ever imagined, and it was wonderful to spend this special day with her.
Dan and I both agreed that we would always take Addie's birthday off and spend the day with her. That may have to change when she starts school, but for now she is ours for the day!!
This morning we had our two-year photos taken with Nichole. It was interesting to say the least. Addie cooperated for the most part, but there were points where it became pretty frustrating! I was surprised when Nichole told us that Addie has been the easiest two-year old session she has ever done! YAY for Addie!! We are looking forward to getting those back and will share as soon as we do!
After pictures we went to eat at HuHot, one of our favorite places! Addie loves helping fill the bowls. We then took a quick trip to Wal-Mart and then went out for ice cream! This was our first trip to Cold Stone Creamery, and we LOVED it! As you can see in the pictures, Addie loved hers too!
MMMM....so good that she had to eat from two spoons!
Addie took the comb out of the bag on the way to Wal-Mart...this was the result. Needless to say, we had to fix her hair before we went in! This girl has such wild hair!!
To end the day we had grandparents and a few aunts and uncles over for supper and more cake! I will post more pictures on a later post! You will notice that we went through three shirts for the day. Her #2 shirt got dirty at lunch when she decided to pour soy sauce all over herself, and her birthday shirt needed to be changed when she helped me make her cake and got chocolate all over it! Can't keep this girl clean for nothing!
It was a wonderful day spent with our little Addie. I can not believe how fast she is growing up. Seems like yesterday that we were taking the little monkey home from the hospital.
Happy Birthday to our little Addie bug! We love you more than you could ever imagine!
